About Me
I’m a user experience designer & researcher with deep expertise in fostering collaboration between teams, users, and stakeholders to drive innovation, team growth, and business impact.
Currently, I’m designing user-centric solutions for the federal government, ensuring accessibility, efficiency, and compliance at scale. My experience also spans private sector companies, where I’ve led product design and UX research initiatives that balance business goals with user needs.
As a full-spectrum UX designer, I specialize in research, strategy, wireframing, and high-fidelity design. I transform complex challenges into seamless digital experiences. I advocate for human-centered solutions that drive business growth while ensuring inclusivity, accessibility, and impact.
Why UX?
I’ve been an entrepreneur and change catalyst since childhood, always drawn to creating solutions and amplifying voices that often go unheard. Whether it was helping my mother sell her fashion designs, launching the first company-wide Women in Technology employee resource group, or founding an e-commerce platform to support women affected by hair loss, my passion has always been people-first innovation.
UX allows me to blend creativity, strategy, and collaboration to systematically improve people’s lives. I’m driven by the opportunity to create social change through both physical and digital experiences, ensuring that technology serves as a force for good.
Background
I’m based in the Washington, DC area but spent part of my teen years in Bogotá, Colombia. Beyond design, I’m deeply committed to advocacy and social impact. I run a small business supporting young women navigating life before, during, and after cancer and serve as a Patient Advisor at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute, where I’ve led initiatives to enhance patient and caregiver experiences.
In my free time, I love traveling, cooking Moroccan cuisine, dancing, and reading Spanish literature—all of which fuel my creativity and perspective as a designer.
I hold a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Tourism & Events Management from George Mason University and a Design Thinking for Innovation Certificate from the University of Virginia Darden Business School.
